A small percentage of the unused Harbor City content was made available later in Twisted Metal: Lost, that came with the Extra Twisted edition of Head-On. Some elements of this game are shared with Twisted Metal: Head-On, as both games were being created at the same time.
Another feature was the on-foot segments, which involved Needles Kane getting out of his truck and exploring various locations, while using weapons to fight against cops and surviving death traps. One of the main features of this game was the interconnected world, with the player being able to traverse between the levels from highways. Twisted Metal: Harbor City (also referred to as Twisted Metal: Black 2) is a cancelled title in the Twisted Metal franchise, and was going to be the sequel to Twisted Metal: Black.
